Hace unas semanas U2 y Green Day actuaron conjuntamente en el Pavellón recientemente recontruido Superdome de Louisiana, un mítico recinto destruido por el Huracán Katrina. En esa actuación ambos grupos presentaron este temazo de la banda escocesa de los 70 The Skids, canción que se encuentra en el nuevo recopilatorio de los irlandeses "U218 singles" y que como se ve en el videoclip es una crítica feroz a la desasastrosa gestión del gobierno de Bush en temas como el Katrina o Irak.
Y el porqué me refiero a esto es porque, además de lo que toca la fibra estos temas, es porque cuando escuché esta canción por primera vez en "U218 singles" no he dejado de escucharla. Es un temazo y no me he podido resistir a colgarla en el blog.
